Creative Workshops Series

Hablemos Positivo, a project focused on exploring internalised HIV stigma affecting Latin American women, trans folks, and gay men.

Throughout six creative sessions, we revisit basic HIV knowledge and attitudes, taking a quiz to test our current understanding. Other sessions included life drawing, an HIV+ flag-making workshop, creative writing, and a psychotherapist-led session. We finished with a pyjama party, where we just pampered ourselves after all the mental and emotional acrobatics that went into putting this work together for our community.

We are incredibly proud of the group of change-making Latin American people living with HIV.

Together we will learnt and reflect on HIV stigma and its impact on our lives.

This project was part of Fast Track Cities London and was developed in partnership with Metro Charity and NAZ Project London.
