The Love Tank is back this year with another full day of activities as part of their initiative Queer Migrant Men in the City and Número de Serie will be co-producing two events on April 9th, 2022.
09.04.22 - 7:30pm to 9:30 pm
The Glasshouse - 118 Bethnal Green Rd. London E2 6DG In this panel discussion, we want to explore how London's queer nightlife acts as a glue to build and keep communities together, the joys and pains of running a queer space, and the influence of queer migration on them. We want to discuss the challenges that these communities face to keep those spaces alive and the responsibilities that all the involved have.
Panelists include Professor Ben Campkin from UCL's Urban Lab and Author of Remaking London: Decline and Regeneration in Urban Culture, Marc Thompson from the online community visual archive Black and Gay Back in the Day, and Karl Verboten from fetish night Klub Verboten, This is a free event but registration is necessary - please register here
